In Islam, an orphan (yateem) is a child who has lost their father or both parents.
Alhamdulillah, Our Ummah Trust currently supports 12 orphans each year, helping to safeguard their imaan and providing opportunities where none existed. Our goal is to expand this support to 100 orphans annually.
We are currently assisting orphans in Bangladesh, Palestine, and the most vulnerable communities. Sponsorship costs £25 per month (£300 per year), except in Bangladesh, where it is £15 per month (£180 per year).
Supporting an orphan requires little from us but can transform a life—and, InshaAllah, secure us a place in Paradise. It is an ongoing charity, with the donor earning rewards for every good deed the child performs.
Bangladesh Orphan Sponsorship
This amount helps cover the child’s food, health and education costs. Transforming a life costs us little but ensures us a place in Paradise inshaAllah. It is a means of continuous charity as the donor receives rewards for all the good that the sponsored child does.
