Secure Your Qurbani, Secure Your Reward

The mercy of Allah is boundless, and His seasons of goodness continue to bless us. Alhamdulillah, we’ve entered the sacred months of Hajj—days filled with reflection, devotion, and the legacy of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (ʿalayhis-salām), the close friend of Allah.

These noble days reach their peak with the act of Qurbani, a symbol of unwavering submission to Allah. We commemorate the momentous story of Ibrahim (ʿalayhis-salām), who was prepared to sacrifice his son Isma’il (ʿalayhis-salām), in complete obedience to his Lord. Allah, in His mercy, replaced Isma’il with a ram.

“And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice.” [Surah As-Saffat: 107]

Muslims around the world honor this moment by offering their own sacrifices during Eid al-Adha. Qurbani is a sacred Sunnah passed down from Ibrahim (ʿalayhis-salām) and perfected by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is a symbol of Islam and a powerful act of devotion, carrying immense reward.

“So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].” [Surah Al-Kawthar: 2]

Final deadline for Qurbani Donations is Friday, 22nd May 2026.

Important Donation Information:

For Qurbani in India, Kashmir, Pakistan, Syria, and Yemen, donations must be made via bank transfer or in person at our Birmingham charity shop. Qurbani donations are accepted until quotas are filled in each country.

If paying by bank transfer, please email your full name, address, contact number, donation amount, choosen country, and animal size (for large animals, include all 7 share names). You’ll receive a confirmation with a receipt and Qurbani reference number.

Placing Your Qurbani Order

Upon payment, you’ll receive a receipt and unique Qurbani number.

If ordering multiple Qurbanis (shares/small/large), list all names in the donation notes. Make a clear intention for each. Prices are rounded to accommodate currency fluctuations and operational costs.

Any surplus will be used for Qurbani-related efforts or other charitable needs. Animals are selected carefully, following Shari’ah guidelines for health and age. Your Qurbani will be performed by directly or by our charity partner Ummah Welfare Trust staff—acting as your appointed representatives—in the designated country.

When and How It Happens

Qurbani will take place during the three days of Eid, in the country of your donation. Meat is distributed by local teams to vulnerable families in need. In rare cases of logistical issues, we will inform you and may relocate your Qurbani to a similar pricing zone.

Other Details to Know

Qurbani by-products (like skins) will be gifted or sold to support zakat-eligible families. Leading up to Eid, you’ll be able to check the website for your Qurbani’s scheduled time.
